The word “will,” in this podcast, means a legal document stating what should happen to one’s money and possessions after one dies: “Luna wrote her will immediately after the birth of her daughter.” A “will” is also one’s determination to do something: “If you have the will, you will find a way to succeed.” The phrase “where there’s a will there’s a way” means that if one really wants to do or have something, it is possible: “Losing 200 pounds will be a major challenge, but where there’s a will there’s a way.” Finally, the phrase “at will” means however and whenever one wants: “You can’t just leave the office at will.
